One killed in a collision at the intersection of Christy Creek Road and CCC Trail Road in Rowan County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- At 9:31 a.m. Kentucky State Police Morehead received a call for service of a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Christy Creek Road and CCC Trail Road in Rowan County. Diana Marble was traveling westbound on Christy Creek Road when her vehicle left the roadway striking a utility pole, then landing on its top. Ms. Marble was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY where she pronounced deceased. Ms. Marble had pre-existing medical issues that may have been a contributing factor in the accident. The accident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Morehead.
