Injury collision on Haldeman Road in Rowan County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On September 2, 2011, at 3:40 PM, Kentucky State Police in Morehead was notified of a single vehicle injury accident on Haldeman Road in Rowan County. Trooper Joshua Preece, Trooper Endre Samu, Rowan County EMS, and Haldeman Fire Department responded to the scene. Teresa Padgett was operating her 2002 Malibu east bound on Haldeman Road. Mrs. Padgett lost control of her vehicle and exited the right shoulder of the road. The Malibu struck a concrete culvert and overturned before also striking a utility pole. Mrs. Padgett was transported by Rowan County EMS to Saint Claire Medical Center for treatment. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Joshua Preece.
