DUI injury collision on KY 111 in Fleming County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On October 1, 2011, at 9:48 PM, Kentucky State Police in Morehead was notified by Fleming County Dispatch of a single vehicle injury accident on KY 111 in Fleming County. Trooper Anson Tribby, Trooper Chad Bowling, Fleming County Sheriff's Office, Fleming County Fire Department, and Fleming County EMS responded to the scene. Mark Wagoner was Operating a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix northbound on KY 111. The Pontiac Grand Prix exited the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a fence. The vehicle entered back onto the roadway and traveled across the southbound lane. The Grand Prix exited the left shoulder of the roadway and struck an embankment before coming to final rest. Mr. Wagoner was taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment.

Mr. Wagoner was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Drugs, Ect., .08 1st (Aggravating Circumstances). The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Anson Tribby.
