Trooper Mary L. Syvertsen is Distingquished Honor Graduate

(Morehead, Ky.) -- Trooper Mary L. Syvertsen of the Kentucky State Police Post 8, Morehead was recently honored for her achievement. On October 16, 2011, Trooper Syvertsen, graduated from the United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School's Psychological Operations Officer Qualification course. Syvertsen attended the course located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, exceeding all course standards and earning recognition as the course Distinguished Honor Graduate. Syvertsen is currently completing pre-deployment training with her Reserve unit and scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan later this year.
