Arrest for Rape 1st Degree and Sodomy 1st Degree

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On Thursday, November 17, 2011 Detective David Zimmerman and Trooper Jason Brown responded to Kendall Springs Road in Owingsville to execute a Bath County District Arrest Warrant for Derek L. Strunk on charges for Rape 1st Degree Victim Under 12 Years of Age and Sodomy 1st Degree Victim Under 12 Years of Age. Mr. Strunk was apprehended without incident and is currently lodged at the Montgomery County Detention Center. The incident remains under investigation by Detective David Zimmerman.
