KSP Post 8 "Cram the Cruiser"

(Morehead, Ky.) -- Captain Bobby D. Murrary of the Kentucky State Police Post 8, Morehead announces this years "Cram the Cruiser." From November 28 until December 12, 2011 a designated cruiser will be parked in the front parking lot at Post 8 to collect non-perishable food items. During the 2010 campaign, the Kentucky State Police collected 21,586 pounds of food of which Post 8 collected 3,154 pounds. This year Post 8 would like to see the 11 counties within its jurisdication make an impact to improve last years totals. The collected food items will be distributed by the Kentucky State Police to local pantries and shelters.
