Injury collision on KY1261 in Wolfe County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On November 28, 2011, at 10:47 AM, Kentucky State Police in Morehead received a request for service from Wolfe County Dispatch in reference to a single vehicle injury accident on KY1261 near the Bethany Christian School. Trooper Brandon Eversole, Trooper Anthony Bowling, Wolfe County EMS, and the Wolfe County Fire Department responded to the scene. George Dickey was operating his 1988 GMC Pickup southbound on KY1261. Mr. Dickey lost control of the vehicle and dropped off of the right shoulder of the roadway, causing them to strike a tree before coming to final rest. Both driver and passenger, Marcia Dickey, were transported to the Kentucky River Medical Center for treatment. The Accident remains under investigation by Trooper Branson Eversole.
