Former Scott County Deputy Arrested

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- On September 11, 2011, Sherriff Tony Hampton of the Scott County Sheriff's Department requested the Kentucky State Police, Frankfort Post to investigate an internal complaint. After a six month investigation KSP presented its investigation to a Scott County Grand Jury. On April 10, 2012 the Grand Jury returned an indictment.

On April 12, 2012, at 10:30 am, KSP detectives executed indictment warrants on Jeremy Day. He has been lodged in the Scott County Detention Center. He has been charged with six counts of Theft of Controlled Substance, 1st Offence, and one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking.
