Injury Collision on KY 1062

(Hickory, KY) – Nathaniel York and Joshua Holley were both traveling south on KY 1062 in separate cars in the northbound and southbound lanes. As they crested a hill, Mr. York met another vehicle traveling north and veered into the right lane, where he struck the driver's side rear tire of Mr. Holley. Mr. Holley lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, went airborne and struck a tree before coming to final rest on the driver's side. Mr. Holley was transported by an Air Evac Helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville due to injuries. Mr. York was not injured but was cited for reckless driving. Trooper Clinkenbeard was assisted on scene by Trigg County Sheriff's Department, Trigg County Rescue, Trigg County EMS and Air Evac Air Ambulance.
