Pursuit Leads to 3 Getting Arrested in Knox County

(Fourmile, Ky.) -- On 06/04/2013 at 12:29 a.m, Tpr. Joey Brigmon was in the area of Fourmile when he heard a loud noise coming from Brooks Tire Service on KY 92 in Bell County. Tpr. Brigmon drove toward the store when he saw a dark colored Chevrolet pickup fleeing the store at a high rate of speed. Tpr. Brigmon activated his emergency equipment, but vehicle failed to stop. Tpr. Brigmon pursued the vehicle, occupied by three subjects, approximately 5 miles before the vehicle turned up Flem Drive, an offroad trail located in the Flatlick community of Knox County. Tpr. Brigmon lost sight and could not follow the vehicle due to the rough terrain. Sgt. Jimmy Young and Knox County Sheriff's Department arrived shortly thereafter and the officers walked up the hill. Officers located the subjects about three miles back in the mountains and placed all three into custody. It was later determined that the subjects were trying to steal rims from Brooks Tire Service.
Noah Tyler Gray, age 18 of Flatlick, was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct 2nd, Resisting Arrest, Fleeing or Evading 2nd Degree (On Foot) and Theft by Unlawful Taking Over $500. He was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
The first juvenile, who was the operator of the vehicle, was charged with Speeding- 26 mph Over the speed limit, Reckless Driving, No Turn Signal, Disregarding a Stop Sign, Improper Start, No Seatbelt, Disorderly Conduct 2nd, Fleeing or Evading 1st Degree (Vehicle), Fleeing or Evading 2nd Degree (On Foot), Resisting Arrest, and Theft by Unlawful Taking Over $500. He was lodged in a Juvenile Detention Facility.
The other juvenile, was charged with Fleeing or Evading 2nd Degree (On Foot), Disorderly Conduct 2nd, Resisting Arrest, and Theft by Unlawful Taking Over $500. He was also lodged in a Juvenile Detention Facility.
Tpr. Brigmon is continuing the investigation.
