Traffic Crash with Injuries in Knox County

(LONDON, KY.) - On Friday, November 22, 2013 at approximately 6:28 AM, the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, received a report of a two vehicle traffic crash on KY 3041 in Knox County near the Whitley County Line.
Upon Arrival Trooper Eric Moore determined that a 2006, Toyota Corolla, operated by Linda F. Scearse, 50, of Corbin was traveling northbound when she crossed the centerline and struck a 2008, Chevrolet, Malibu, head on which was traveling southbound being operated by Bobby Hulsebus, 53, of Gray.
Scearse was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision and was transported to the Baptist Regional Medical Center and later flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Hulsebus and his passenger were both wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision and were transported to the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
No drug or alcohol usage was suspected.
Trooper Moore is in charge of the investigation and was assisted at the scene by KSP traffic crash reconstructionist Craid Reed, Corbin Police Department, Knox County EMS and the Corbin Fire Department.
