Scott County Drug Trafficking Arrest

(Sadieville, KY) -- A Kentucky State Police Drug investigation led to the arrest of Rrenis M. Petrey, age 42, of Georgetown, KY. On March 09, 2013, Post 12 KSP Narcotics Detectives received information from Scott County Sheriff's Office, reference illegal narcotic trafficking at 831 Porter Road, Sadieville, KY. The investigation led to a search warrant, culminating in the arrest of Petrey. Seizures made during the arrest include Methamphetamine, Percoset, Opana, Alprazolam, Lortab, Xanax, Diazepam, Adderall, $2230 US Currency, a shotgun and ammunition. Illegal drugs seized have an estimated street value of over $2000 US.
Petrey was arrested and taken to the Scott County Detention Center.
Petrey has been charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Drug Unspecified), Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Drug Unspecified), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon. Further charges, pending grand jury investigation.
Kentucky State Police was assisted in the investigation by Scott County Sheriff's Office.
