Four Arrested in Calloway County

(Hickory, KY.) - On 09/20/2013, Kentucky State Police received information concerning the whereabouts of Shawn Cannon, who had been listed as a fugitive for over a year. Trooper Jody Cash responded to a residence on Highway 94 East and located Mr. Cannon hiding inside the residence where numerous drugs were also located. After taking Mr. Cannon into custody, Kentucky State Police also arrested Joseph Parkhurst, Eric Miller and Ashley Miller who were all located at the residence. Cannon was arrested on the outstanding warrants and was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree (2 counts) and Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container (2 counts). Joseph Parkhurst was determined to be a fugitive from Tennessee and was charged Fugitive from Justice and Hindering Prosecution/Apprehension 2nd Degree. Eric Miller was charged with Hindering Prosecution/Apprehension 2nd Degree and Ashley Miller was charged with Hindering Prosecution/Apprehension 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree (5 counts), Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container (6 counts) and Promoting Contraband 1st Degree. All four were lodged in the Calloway County Jail. The investigation continues by Trooper Cash who was assisted by the Murray Police Department and the Calloway County Sheriffs Department.
