(Hickory, KY) - Kentucky State Police was notified that Amoline Vancil passed away at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. at 0800 A.M. September 25th.

Injury Collision on KY 802 in Ballard County
Date of News Release: 09/23/2013
(Hickory, KY) - At approximately 7:35 pm, the Kentucky State Police responded to an injury accident on KY 802 in the Blandville community in Ballard County. Approximately half a mile south of Blandville on KY 802, a Mercury Grand Marquis was parked in the southbound lane with the driver's door open. The operator, Amoline Vancil, was between the open driver's door and her car when a northbound Ford 500, operated by Ruby Anderson, struck the open door. Vancil sustained injuries from the collision, but got into her vehicle and returned to her residence in Blandville. She was later transported by Ballard County Ambulance to Lourdes Hospital. The Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by Ballard County Sheriff's Office and Ballard County EMS.
