KSP Arrest Student In Reference To Bomb Threat at Muhlenberg County High School West Campus

Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County) -- The Kentucky State Police arrested a student in reference to a bomb threat at Muhlenberg County High School West Campus.

On Friday, March 08, 2013, at approximately 12:25 p.m., the KSP Post 2 Madisonville was contacted by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department in reference to a bomb threat at the West Campus of Muhlenberg County High School located at 501 Robert L. Draper Way, Greenville. A drawing had been discovered on a wall of a bathroom stall that depicted a bomb, a school, today's date, and a time.

Emergency personnel from several agencies responded to the scene. Students were evacuated from the high school. A search of the school was conducted by canines from the KSP Special Operations Section. No explosives or explosive devices were located.

As a result of on-scene investigation by KSP detectives, Detective Scott Smith arrested Kristopher Caleb Robinson, 18 of Drakesboro, KY, who is a student at the school. Mr. Robinson was charged with Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree (Class C Felony) and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.

The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department, the Muhlenberg County Police Department, the Greenville Police Department, the Central City Police Department, the Powderly Police Department, the Greenville Fire Department, the Central City Fire Department, Muhlenberg County Emergency Management, and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
