Injury Bus Collision on Kennedy Brasher Road

Date of News Release: 03/21/2013

(Muhlenberg County) -- Amanda Eddings was operating a 2003 Freightliner school bus south bound on Kennedy Brasher Road. Donald Garrett JR was operating a 2008 Chrysler Sebring north bound on Kennedy Brasher Road. As the two vehicles approached each other, Mr. Garrett drove into a ditch and stopped to avoid a collision with the school bus. The driver's side of the school bus struck Mr. Garrett's vehicle and continued out of control. The school bus exited the left shoulder of the roadway and overturned, coming to final rest on it's right side.

All school bus passengers were transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital by the Muhlenberg County EMS for treatment of their injuries. Ms. Eddings was not injured. Mr. Garrett went to the hospital in a personal owned vehicle.
