Central City Woman Arrested

Bremen, KY. (Muhlenberg County) - The Kentucky State Police arrested a Central City woman on drug-related charges.
On Saturday, September 7, 2013, at approximately 4:02 p.m., Trooper Jon McGehee conducted a traffic stop on a 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo on Main Street in Bremen, KY. Trooper McGehee observed the vehicle being operated by Amber M. Nelson, 22 of Central City, KY, who has a suspended driver's license.
During the course of the traffic stop, officers located suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana. Ms. Nelson was arrested without incident.
Trooper McGehee charged Ms. Nelson with the following offenses:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense – Meth
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Driving on a DUI Suspended License 1st Offense
She was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
