Execution of Search Warrant Leads to Felony Drug Arrest

Nortonville, KY. (Hopkins County) - The Kentucky State Police arrested four Nortonville residents on drug-related charges.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at approximately 11:02 a.m., Trooper Bob Winters, Detective Carlo Anderson, and Sergeant Derek Smith executed a search warrant at a residence located on Oak Hill Circle, in Nortonville, KY.

Upon executing the search warrant, Troopers located Hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia in the residence of Larry Oglesby, 45, Janet Maawed, 58, Dennis Terry II, 38, and Patricia Morgan, 43, all of Nortonville, KY. All four subjects were arrested without incident.

Trooper Winters charged Mr. Oglesby with the following offenses:

  1. Trafficking in Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense
  2. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Trooper Winters charged Ms. Maawed with the following offenses:

  1. Trafficking in Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense
  2. Tampering with Physical Evidence

Trooper Winters charged Mr. Terry with the following offenses:

  1. Trafficking in Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense
  2. Tampering with Physical Evidence
  3. Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug

Trooper Winters charged Ms. Morgan with the following offenses:

  1. Trafficking in Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense
  2. Tampering with Physical Evidence
  3. Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug

All four were lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
