Post 3 Detective Receives Award from Statewide Child Abuse Prevention Organization

(Bowling Green, KY) -- Kentucky State Police Post 3 Detective Laura Isenberg, an Internet Crimes Against Children Investigator, will be recognized by Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky as a Champion for Children during the 17th annual Kids Are Worth It! Conference. Isenberg is the recipient of the 5th annual law enforcement award given by Kentucky's only statewide child abuse and neglect prevention organization.
Detective Isenberg is being recognized for her work with elementary and middle school students, especially in the area of internet safety. One of Det. Isenberg's investigations resulted in 140 counts of criminal abuse against the offender and charges of complicity for his spouse.
Detective Isenberg's achievements will be recognized on Monday, September 9th at the Lexington Convention Center.
Detective Isenberg is a fifteen year veteran of the Kentucky State Police.
