Elizabethtown Man Leads Post 4 Troopers On Pursuit, Suspect Tazed

(ELIZABETHTOWN, KY) -- On Sunday, March 3, 2013 at approximately 6:30 p.m. ET Post 4 Trooper Shannan White made a traffic stop on KY 3005 (Ring Road) in Elizabethtown. While talking to the suspect, 28-year-old Elizabethtown resident Michael D. Lamb, sped away. A pursuit ensued when Lamb refused to stop for Tpr. White. The pursuit went southbound on US31W where Lamb drove through several yards where he eventually stopped and fled on foot. Tpr. White caught Lamb in a garage. He refused to comply with Tpr. White's commands and was subsequently tazed. Lamb complied and was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. He was charged with Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Trafficking in Marijuana, Resisting Arrest, and numerous traffic offenses. An occupant in Lambís vehicle was also arrested. Jonathan Tracy was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana and Resisting Arrest. Tpr. White was assisted by other Troopers at Post during the pursuit. The investigation is ongoing.
