Kentucky State Police Arrest Lincoln County Man For Domestic Violence

(Waynesburg, KY) -- On Monday, January 7, 2013 at 11:10 pm. EDT the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted by the Bluegrass 911 Center who were requesting assistance with a barricaded suspect following a domestic violence assault on Parker Road in southern Lincoln County.

Deputies, who responded to the scene prior to KSP arrival, located the victim of the assault and overheard threats against law enforcement made by the perpetrator, Timothy Combs.

Members of the Kentucky State Police, Special Response Team arrived on scene and were able to remove an 80 year old female, who was bedridden in the residence, and began attempts to make contact with the suspect.

Timothy Combs, 53 years old of Waynesburg, was arrested and charged with Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence), Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree, and Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree.

Trooper Eric Taylor is the investigating officer and was assisted at the scene by Trooper Chris Damron, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department, and Waynesburg EMS.
