Morehead Man Killed in a Motorcycle Collision on Kentucky Highway 377

Date of News Release: 06/23/2013

(Morehead, KY) -- On Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:47 PM, Kentucky State Police in Morehead was notified by Rowan County Dispatch of a single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Kentucky Highway 377 near the intersection of Kentucky Highway 799 in Rowan County. Myron C. Logan Jr., 29 of Morehead was traveling north on Kentucky 377 when he went off the right shoulder of the roadway into a ditch line. The motorcycle then flipped end over end coming to a final rest against a fence. Mr. Logan was pronounced deceased on June 23, 2013 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Keith Howard.

Myron C. Logan Jr., 29 of Morehead was traveling north on Kentucky 377 when he went off the right shoulder of the roadway into a ditch line. The motorcycle then flipped end over end coming to a final rest against a fence. Mr. Logan was airlifted from the scene to Cabell Huntington Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Keith Howard.
