Burglary Arrest in Harlan County

(Loyall, Ky.) - On October 18, 2014 at approximately 5:00 a.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call about a burglary off of KY 840 in the Loyall community of Harlan County. Trooper Jared Boggs responded and began an investigation.
Tpr. Boggs received a description of a vehicle that was involved in the burglary. A short time later the vehicle was stopped by an officer from the Harlan City Police Department. Tpr. Boggs along with officers from the city police department searched the vehicle and located two handguns and over $3200.00 in cash that was stolen from the victim.
Five individuals were in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop. There was two adults and three juveniles that were charged with burglary.
- Jessica Middleton, 25, of Harlan was arrested and charged with Burglary 1st.
- Morgan Boggs, 19, of Harlan was arrested and charged with Burglary 1st.
Both adults were lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
All three juveniles were charged with multiple charges and taken to a detention center.
