Robbery Investigation in Rockcastle County

(LONDON, KY.) - On Saturday March 29, 2014 at approximately 6:25 AM the Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a report of a Robbery at the "Shell Fuel Station" near exit 59, off interstate 75 in Rockcastle County.

Upon arrival, KSP Detective John Barnett determined that a white male subject entered the store and approached the cashier and stated that he had a firearm and demanded money. The cashier complied and the male subject fled the store on foot with (an undisclosed amount of cash.

The male subject was described as wearing: a black ski mask, black jacket, and black gloves.

Detective Barnett is in charge of the investigation and was assisted at the scene by Trooper Ryan Loudermilk, Trooper Delzie Kelly, Trooper Josh Brainard and the Mount Vernon Police Department.
