Fugitive Arrest in Rockcastle County

(LONDON, KY.) - On Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at approximately 1:50 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified by authorities in Butler County, Ohio about a fugitive that was possibly staying at a residence on Flat Gap Road in Rockcastle County.
Butler County authorities advised KSP that Daniel R. French, 56, of Berea had an indictment warrant for Aggravated Murder, Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Robbery, Tampering With Evidence and Gross Abuse of a Corpse.
Troopers arrived at the residence and located French. He was arrested without incident and lodged in the Rockcastle County Detention Center, pending extradition.
The arrest was made by Trooper Scottie Pennington and Trooper Ryan Loudermilk.
