Fatal Traffic Crash in Whitley County

(LONDON, KY.) - On Monday, December 29, 2014 at approximately 8:08 AM, the Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a report of fatal traffic crash on KY HWY 92 in Whitley County.
Upon arrival Accident Reconstructionist Trooper Don Trosper determined that a 2008 Honda Civic operated by Cindy A. Tackett, 23, of Rockholds was traveling eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle in a curve, crossed the center-line and struck a 1999 Honda Civic head-on which was traveling westbound being operated by Charles N. Mcintosh, 20, of Williamsburg.
Mcintosh, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Whitley County Coroner's Office.
The passengers in the 1999 Honda Civic, Jeremy D. Llewellyn, 25, of Williamsburg and Dalton L. Ramey, 21, of Williamsburg, who were not wearing seatbelts, were both transported to Jellico community Hospital where they both are being treated for their injuries.
Tackett, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to the Saint Joseph London Hospital where she is being treated for her injuries.
Trooper Trosper is in charge of the investigation and was assisted at the scene by Whitley County Sheriff's Office, Whitley County Coroner's Office, Whitley County EMS, Bell County EMS, Williamsburg Fire Department and Patterson Creek Fire Department.
