Blackburn Escapee Investigation

Billy Dean Rose - Escapee

(Frankfort, KY) - On Monday, January 20, 2014 at approximately 9:45pm, Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort investigated the escape of an inmate from Blackburn Correctional Complex, a minimum security facility, in Lexington, KY.

Billy Dean Rose, age 36, of Pulaski County, KY, was serving a 16 year sentence for Robbery 2nd Degree and Trafficking a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree. Rose is a white male, 6'01", 230 lbs, brown hair and green eyes. Rose may be wearing khaki pants or grey sweat pants. Rose has several tattoos, the most visible being a bird on his left hand.

Rose may be headed to the Somerset, KY area.
