Kentucky State Police Pursuit of a Stolen Vehicle Ends with Multiple Arrests

(Frankfort, KY) - On Monday, August 04, 2014, Trooper Jeff Gaby observed a possible stolen vehicle traveling on the East West Connector in Frankfort. When Trooper Gaby engaged his emergency equipment and attempted to stop the vehicle, a black 2003 Chevrolet Pickup, the vehicle sped off, turning onto Old Glenns Creek Road.
The vehicle stopped abruptly and the driver fled on foot. Trooper Gaby gave chase and apprehended the suspect.
The driver of the vehicle, Ron Justice, age 30, of Frankfort, was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property $10,000 Or More, Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd Degree (On Foot), Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, and Resisting Arrest.
A passenger in the vehicle, Angela Sutherland, age 27, was charged with Menacing and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
Both subjects were lodged in the Franklin County Detention Center.
The investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police, Post 12.
