Sodomy 3rd Degree Arrest in Boyd County

(Ashland, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police have arrested a Boyd County Deputy Jailer after receiving a report involving the possible sexual assault of a female inmate at the Boyd County Detention Center.

On October 15, 2014 The Kentucky State Police was contacted by The Boyd County Detention Center and advised they had received a report involving the possible sexual assault of a female inmate by a male member of the jail staff.

Detective David Boarman responded and was able to obtain evidence substantiating the allegations. During the course of the investigation it was determined illegal sexual contact (oral sex) had occurred between a Deputy Jailer and two female inmates.

On October 16, 2014 James F. Robertson, age 42, of Ashland KY, was arrested lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center and charged with:

Sodomy 3rd Degree (2 counts)

The investigation is ongoing by Detective David Boarman.
