Russell County Bomb Threat

(Jamestown, KY) - The Kentucky State Police are investigating a bomb threat that was called into the Russell County Judge Executives office today at approximately 11:00 AM CST. An unidentified male called the office and said that there was a bomb in the courthouse. The caller did not indicate which courthouse in Russell County so both buildings were evacuated by the Russell County Sheriffs Department. KSP Troopers, Detectives and K-9 Units responded to the scene and cleared both buildings, unable to find any device. The case remains under investigation.
