Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest in Hancock County

(Henderson, KY) - On Sunday, February 2nd, 2013 the Kentucky State Police stopped a vehicle being operated by Cody Bauer for speeding through the city limits of Hawesville. A traffic stop was initiated and it was discovered the operator had a suspended operators license and active Daviess County warrants. Consent to search the vehicle was given at which time troopers observed marijuana, pseudoephedrine pills and other drug paraphernalia items used to manufacture methamphetamine. Cody Bauer was arrested at the scene, transported to Breckinridge County Jail and charged with manufacturing meth, unlawful possession of meth precursor, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, speeding and operating on suspended license. Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by Hancock County Sheriff’s Department and Hawesville Police Department.
