Whitesville Man Charged with Felonies

(Henderson, KY.) - On Tuesday, March 18, 2014, Kentucky State Police Detective Zach Jones and Trooper Jeremy Baker charged 32 year-old Matthew Browning of Whitesville with one (1) count of Burglary 1st degree, B-felony and four (4) counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking - Firearm, D-felony.
The investigation was initiated on December 27, 2013 by Kentucky State Police Detective Zach Jones after receiving a complaint about a residential burglary in the 3700 block of Belltown Road in Ohio County. The homeowner stated four various long guns valued over $500 were stolen as a result of the residential burglary.
Kentucky State Police troopers and deputies with the Ohio County Sheriff's Department located Browning last night at his residence and arrested him without incident.
Browning is being held in the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.
