Manufacturing Methamphetamine 2nd Offense Investigation and Arrest

(Henderson, KY) - On October 31st, 2014 Kentucky State Police initiated a traffic stop on a blue 1991 Chevy Pickup on KY144 in the city limits of Owensboro, KY. The vehicle continued onto Bark Cove Lane and the operator was refusing to stop. The vehicle stopped at the end of Bark Cove Lane and upon approach the operator, identified as Terry M. Morris of Leitchfield, KY, attempted to flee on foot but was quickly taken into custody following a brief altercation with the trooper. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Whitney B. Raymer of Owensboro, was taken into custody and both were transported and lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.

Terry M. Morris was charged with:

  • Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 2nd offense
  • Possession Controlled Substance, 2nd offense (Methamphetamine)
  • Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor – 1st offense
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Drug Paraphernalia - Buy/Possess
  • Assault 3rd degree - Police Officer
  • Fleeing or Evading Police - 2nd Degree (Motor Vehicle)
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon
  • Numerous Traffic Related Offenses

Whitney B. Raymer was charged with:

  • Manufacturing Methampetamine, 1st offense
  • Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st offense (Methamphetamine)
  • Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor, 1st offense
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Drug Paraphernalia - Buy/Possess
