Injury Collision on on US 62 in Carlisle County

(HICKORY, KY.) - On Saturday, March 29, 2014 at approximately 1329 hours, Angel Harp was driving east on US 62 when she lost control of her vehicle and veered across the southbound lane into the Bethlehem Baptist Church parking lot. Ms. Harp was still unable to regain control of her vehicle and veered back across US 62 and ran off the roadway into the ditch and earth embankment. The vehicle she was driving did not come to final rest until it struck an unoccupied vehicle parked in the Cunningham Fire Department parking lot. Ms. Harp's injuries are unknown at this time, but she was treated at the scene by Carlisle County EMS and transported to Lourdes Hospital for further evalutation of her injuries. Her passenger was also transported to Lourdes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The owner of the unoccupied vehicle was notified of the incident and arrived on scene shortly after. The investigation continues by Trooper Smith.
