Paducah Female Injured in a Collision at the Intersection of US 45 and KY 408

(Mayfield, KY) - On August 20, KSP Post 1 received a call of an accident with injuies at the intersection of US 45 and KY 408 in Graves County. Troopers arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation. A semi truck and trailer, being operated by William Gray of Waverly, KY had come to a stop at the intersection. A 2008 Lincoln passenger car, being driven by Taylor Masse of Paducah, KY was southbound on US 45. Masse failed to stop at the intersection and collided with the rear end of the semi trailer. Masse's vehicle then traveled across both southbound lanes and came to rest in the median. Masse was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Gray was not injured in the collision. KSP was assisted at the scene by the Graves County Sheriff's Office, Graves County EMS and Viola Fire Department.
