KSP Arrests Hardin Man for Criminal Abuse of a Child

(Murray, Ky.) - On Tuesday, Kentucky State Police (KSP) arrested Stefan Henson (23) of Hardin, charging him with one count of Criminal Abuse in the 1st Degree (victim under 12 years of age). The arrest stems from a three week investigation. The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS), Department for Community Based Services, contacted KSP after an infant was examined at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital for reported facial injuries.
Detective Brett Miller of the Kentucky State Police is leading the investigation which led to the charge and warrant against Henson. Henson was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center. Criminal Abuse of a Child Less than Twelve Years of Age is a Class C Felony, punishable by not less than 5 nor more than 10 years imprisonment if judicially assessed.
