(Hickory, KY) - On December 3, 2014, Kentucky State Police arrested and charged Janine Denise Priddy, 43 of Paducah, with one count of Criminal Abuse, 1st Degree. The arrest comes after a lengthy investigation by Sergeant Kyle Nall, in conjunction with the Department of Community Based Services, which led to the case being presented to the McCracken County Grand Jury on November 21, 2014. The investigation was initiated when a Social Services Clinician discovered an extremely dehydrated and malnourished 3 year-old child living in Priddy's residence. Priddy was lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center, where she is being held on a $10,000 cash bond. The investigation continues by Sergeant Nall and the Department of Community Based Services- Child Protective Services Division.
