Two Vehicle Injury Collision On KY 181

Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County) - The Kentucky State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury collision that occurred at the intersection of Luzerne Drive and KY 181 north, in Greenville, on Friday, November 21, 2014, at 3:58 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Brianna Johnson, 18, of Greenville, was operating a 1995 Ford F-150 westbound on Luzerne Drive. Michael Kelley, 20, of Greenville was operating a 2001 Jeep Cherokee on KY 181 north. Kelley was attempting to make a left turn from KY 181 onto Luzerne Drive.

Mr. Kelley turned left into the path of Ms. Johnson's vehicle and the two vehicles collided on the roadway. Both vehicles came to final rest in the roadway. Kelley and his passenger, Vyctoria Kelley, 19, of Greenville were not injured. Johnson's passenger, Brian Headen, 12, of Greenville was not injured. All occupants in the collision were wearing seat belts. Ms. Johnson was transported via ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital.

Trooper First Class, Jerry Knight investigated the collision Trooper First Class, Jerry Knight was assisted at the scene by Trooper Jacob Fortney, Muhlenberg County Schools resource officers, Mike Drake and Darrin Albro, Muhlenberg County EMS and the Greenville Fire Department.
