Two Arrested at Trimble County Meth Lab

(Bedford, KY) - Two people were arrested last night (1/29) after Troopers found a meth lab in an apartment on McDowell Lane in Bedford, KY. Troopers responded to a call of an assault at the apartments and made contact with David Wentworth, 32 years old from Bedford, KY and Rebecca Wentworth, 39 years old from Bedford, KY. Upon entering their apartment, Troopers smelled the odor of methamphetamine being produced. After obtaining a search warrant, Troopers found an active meth lab along with several ingredients used in the production of methamphetamine. A small amount of finished methamphetamine was also found. David Wentworth was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Unlawful Possession of a Meth Precursor. He was also served with a warrant for Burglary 2nd and Terroristic Threatening. Rebecca Wentworth was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Meth Precursor, Possession of a Synthetic Cannabinoid, Promoting Contraband, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both subjects were lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
