UPDATE: Drug Roundup Nets 22 Arrests

(Bedford, KY) - Two more individuals have been arrested in connection with the drug roundup. Phillip Mitchell, 28 years old from Bedford, KY, was charged with two counts of Trafficking 2nd. Nicholas Mingus, 21 years old from Ghent, KY, was charged with Trafficking 2nd and two counts of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor.

Drug Roundup Nets 22 Arrests

(Bedford, KY) - Officers with the Kentucky State Police, Trimble County Sheriff's Department, Carrollton Police Department and the US Marshal Fugitive Task Force conducted a drug roundup this morning in Trimble and surrounding counties. Law enforcement served arrest warrants on 22 subjects who were indicted on charges of trafficking heroin, methamphetamine, and prescription narcotics. The indictments came after a four month undercover drug investigation conducted by the Kentucky State Police.

Of the original 30 indictment warrants, eight individuals have not been located.
