KSP Arrest in Nicholas County

(Carlisle, Ky.) - On Saturday June 14, 2014 Trooper Chris Lairson took a theft report in Nicholas County on Maysville Road (US 68). After gathering evidence and other information from the scene, Trooper Lairson along with Trooper Troy Brooks, Sgt. Newt Robinson and Deputy Herb Booth of the Nicholas County Sheriff's Office went to 599 Ritchie Road and spoke with Billy Feeback. Mr. Feeback gave consent to search the property and residence. Trooper Lairson recovered a stolen push mower and air compressor from his case and prescription drugs. Also recovered by the Nicholas County Sheriff's Office were ten pistols, 21 long guns and five of which were confirmed as stolen. Trooper Lairson charged Billy Feeback with receiving stolen property under $10,000.00, two counts of prescription not in proper container and one count of possession of a controlled substance first degree first offence drug unspecified. Billy Feeback has charges pending from the Nicholas County Sheriff's Office for the stolen firearms. This was the result from a joint investigation by the Kentucky State Police , Nicholas County Sheriff's Office and Officer Scott Johnson of the Carlisle Police Department.
