Home Invasion / Death Investigation in Harrison County

Larry J. Nolen, suspect

(Dry Ridge, Ky.) -- On Monday, December 22, 2014 at approximately 1:15 am, Kentucky State Police along with the Harrison County Sheriff's Department responded to the residence at 269 Monroe Lane, Cynthiana, KY, regarding a possible home invasion. The homeowner, Mr. William D. Jolley, was contacted by Raven B. Edwards, of 512 East Pike Street, Cynthiana KY, via social media and asked to come to the residence. A short time after her arrival, she went outside and returned with two other male subjects who then entered the residence. Marcus L. Gross, of 216 N. Miller Street, Cynthiana, along with his accomplice, Larry J. Nolen, of 214 S. Walnut Street, Cynthiana, KY, attacked Mr. Jolley while in his residence. Mr. Jolley was able to discharge his firearm several times and struck Marcus Gross. Shortly afterwards, both suspects fled the residence. Larry Nolen transported Marcus L. Gross to Harrison Memorial Hospital where he abandoned the vehicle, a Maroon 2000 Chevy Impala, and fled on foot. Marcus L. Gross was pronounced deceased while at the hospital.

Raven B. Edwards has been charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Burglary, 1st Degree and is currently being lodged at the Bourbon County Jail. The case is being investigated by Kentucky State Police Detective, Scott Lengle. The other suspect, Larry J. Nolen is currently at large and is considered armed and dangerous: Height: 5'7", Weight: 160 lbs, Hair: Black, Eyes: Brown (see picture, has pony tail)
