Nicholasville Residents Arrested in 2008 Jessamine County Murder Investigation

(Nicholasville, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post with the assistance of the Nicholasville Police Department, has made two arrests in a 2008 Jessamine County murder case.
The investigation began on May 6, 2008, when the Jessamine County Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Hunter's Ferry Road in rural Jessamine County. The fire department located a deceased body in the vehicle and the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted. The investigation revealed that the deceased was Mark Dunn, 45 years old of Nicholasville, KY. Following the autopsy, it was determined that Mark Dunn died as a result of being shot, prior to his vehicle catching on fire.
As a result of the investigation, David W. Peel, 34 years old of Nicholasville, and Odis D. Henson, 46 years old of Nicholasville, were arrested this afternoon, following an indictment by the Jessamine County Grand Jury. David W. Peel is charged with Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Arson 2nd Degree. Odis D. Henson is charged with Arson 2nd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. They are lodged in the Jessamine County Detention Center.
