Update (Juvenile Located) - KSP Investigates Missing Juvenile in Madison County

(Richmond, KY) - On Thursday, October 9, 2014, Sierra D. Rhinehart was located in Greer, SC, by the Greer City Police Department. Sierra has been released to the custody of her mother. The initial investigation indicates that Sierra and was not abducted and was not injured during the seven days that she was missing.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Detective Jeremy Hamm.

 

KSP Investigates Missing Juvenile in Madison County

(Richmond, KY) - The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is investigating a missing juvenile case in Madison County.

On Friday, October 3, 2014, at approximately 1:15 a.m., KSP Post 7 was notified that Sierra Danielle Rhinehart, 15 years old, had been missing for about an hour. She was last seen in the parking lot of the BP Station, just off of exit 95 on I-75.

The initial investigation indicates that Sierra walked away from the gas station and started waking north on I-75, possibly being picked up by a passing motorist.

Sierra is a white female, 5'6" tall weighing approximately 135 pounds. She has brown, shoulder length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans and a maroon long-sleeve shirt with black boots. Sierra was carrying a purse that looks like a backpack.

Sierra's current location is unknown and she has been entered as a missing person. If you have any information about the possible location of Sierra or if you have seen her, please call the Kentucky State Police, Post 7 at 859-623-2404.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Trooper Keith Parke.
