KSP, Richmond Post, Activity for November 2014

(Richmond, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of November, 2014.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,515 citations of which 263 were for speeding, 5 for no child restraint and 98 for no seatbelts. There were a total of 12 individuals arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 354 courtesy notices, and assisted 51 stranded motorists, while inspecting 1,441 vehicles.
Richmond Post investigated 44 traffic collisions in the month of November.
Detectives and Troopers investigated 939 complaints, opened 58 criminal cases, and made 175 criminal arrests.
