Grayson Woman Arrested on Drug Charges

(Vanceburg, KY) - On Friday, May 23, 2014 at 6:31 pm Sergeant Jeff Lewis received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle parked at East End Carwash in Vanceburg, Kentucky. Sergeant Lewis responded to the scene and the vehicle was located. Through investigation it was determined that a passenger in the vehicle Rebecca D. Ray, 39, of Grayson, Kentucky had a warrant for her arrest. Through further investigation Sergeant Lewis discovered drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, and marijuana. Ms. Ray was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess, and Possession of Marijuana. Sergeant Lewis was assisted on scene by Vanceburg Police Department Officer Mike Ginn. Ms. Ray was lodged in the Lewis County Detention Center. The incident remains under investigation by Sergeant Jeff Lewis.
