Sandy Hook Woman Injured in a Collision on KY 32

(Morehead, KY) - On Wednesday, June 25th 2014, at approximately 7:34 a.m., Kentucky State Police Post 8 was notified by the Morehead City Police Dispatch of a single vehicle injury accident on KY 32, Christy Creek, in Rowan County. Trooper Keith Howard responded to the scene. Upon investigation it was determined that Kayla Oneal, age 29 of Sandy Hook, KY, had been operating a 2002 Chevy Cavalier west bound on KY 32 when she ran off the left side of the road and struck a culvert. The vehicle overturned and came to final rest in a field. Ms. Oneal was transported to St. Claire Hospital by Rowan County EMS and later transferred to UK Medical Center for her injuries. Ms. Oneal was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Keith Howard.
