Anthony 'Rell' Paysen - Apprehended Julius 'Jubee' Kolowitz - Apprehended Jaque Abrams - Apprehended

(Morehead, KY) - Kentucky State Police in Morehead has receiving information of the apprehension of Jaque Abrams. Mr. Abrams has been charged with Murder and has been lodged at the Rowan County Detention Center. Julius Kolowitz has turned himself in as well. Mr. Kolowitz will be transported to the Rowan County Detention Center in Morehead, KY and will be also charged with Murder. Kentucky State Police has received information that Anthony Paysen has been apprehended in the Hodgensville, KY area. This case remains under investigation by Detective Toby Gardner.

(Morehead, KY) - Kentucky State Police Morehead is currently seeking information on the location of three individuals wanted with the connection of the Murder of Bo Otis who was murdered in Rowan County on June 22, 2014. Kentucky State Police Morehead has obtained arrest warrants for Murder on Anthony 'Rell' Paysen, 19 of Hodgensville, KY, Julius 'Jubee' Kolowitz, 20 of Elizabethtown, KY, and Jaque Abrams, 19 of Elizabethtown, KY. Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of these individuals, please contact Kentucky State Police in Morehead (606) 784-4127 or contact your local State Police Post at 1-800-222-5555. All subjects should be considered armed and dangerous and any contact with or sightings of these individuals should be reported immediately .

Update on Rowan County Home Invasion

(Morehead, KY) - On Tuesday June 24, 2014 Kentucky State Police Morehead made two arrests in connection with the Murder of Bo Otis that occurred on June 22, 2014 in Rowan County. Kentucky State Police Morehead arrested Marcus Stewart, 19 of Elizabethtown, KY and Demario Powell, 18 of Morehead. Both subjects have been charged with Murder and lodged at the Rowan County Detention Center in Morehead, KY. Additional arrests are pending, and the case remains under investigation by Detective Toby Gardner.

Update on Rowan County Home Invasion

Date of News Release: 06/23/2014

(Morehead, KY) - On Monday June 23, 2014 Kentucky State Police Morehead was notified that the victim in the home invasion has been pronounced deceased. Bo Otis, 20 of Owingsville, was pronounced deceased at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Mr. Otis succumbed to his injuries sustained in the home invasion that occurred in Rowan County on June 22, 2014. The case remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Morehead.

Shooting Incident in Rowan County

Date of News Release: 06/22/2014

(Morehead, KY) - On Sunday June 22, 2014 at 1:20 p.m. Kentucky State Police was notified of a disturbance complaint at 50 Rose Road in Morehead, KY. A male subject at the residence dialed 911 after a possible home invasion at the residence. Troopers arrived on scene to discover a 20 year old male subject with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY with life threatening injuries. He was later airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY where he is listed in critical condition.
