Three Arrested After Execution of a Search Warrant in Rowan County

(Rowan County, KY) -- On August 28, 2014 the Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant on a residence at 55 Sharkey Road, Morehead, Kentucky. Execution of the search warrant resulted in approximately 3 grams of heroin, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, processed marijuana, and a total of $539.05 cash. Suspects Eben Curtis, Rachard Huffman, and Derrick Barnes were arrested and lodged in the Rowan County Detention center charged with Trafficking Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 1st offence heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Cultivation of Marijuana less than five plants. Joseph Neely was also arrested and lodged in Rowan County Detention center, charged with Possession Controlled Substance 1st degree, 1st offence heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and execution of active warrant. Case remains under investigation by detective Chad Bowling.
