Homicide Investigation and Reward Offered in Clay County

(London, KY) - On Monday, July 13, 2015, KSP Detectives discovered the body of Lawrence Sizemore, 68, in his Sextons Creek home.
Evidence indicated that Mr. Sizemore had been murdered. As the investigation continues, the victim's family has set up a memorial fund to raise money for a reward. The fund currently starts at $3,000.00.
For anyone wishing to donate, the fund is titled the "Larry Sizemore Memorial Fund" and is set up through FCN Bank. FCN is located at 1060 State Road 229 N Batesville, IN 47006. If anyone has any questions, FCN's phone number is 812-934-9078.

Death Investigation in Clay County
Date of News Release: 07/14/2015
(London, KY.) - On Monday, July 13, 2015, at approximately 7:35 AM Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified of a residential structure fire with a fatality on KY HWY 577 in the Sextons Creek Community of Clay County.
KSP Arson Investigator Detective Brian Lewis along with Detective Nick Metcalf arrived on the scene and discovered the victim Lawrence Sizemore, 68, of Sextons Creek deceased inside the residence.
The cause of the fire and death has not been determined at this time, however foul play is suspected. An autopsy has been scheduled for today in Frankfort.
KSP Detective Nick Metcalf is in charge of the investigation and was assisted at the scene by KSP SGT Greg Hill, KSP Arson Investigator Detective Brian Lewis, Detective Justin Oliver, Clay County Coroner Danny Finley and the Burning Springs Fire Department.
